Chelsea and Pablo – Avalon Gardens – 4 OCT 2017

Wedding Photography in the Gold Coast

Chelsea and Pablo were married in September 2017. They had their ceremony at beautiful Avalon Gardens in Tamborine Mountain and finished off the night at the Sherton in the Gold Coast.

Chelsea got ready for her big day at her parents place in Pacific Pines, only a short 20 mintue drive from Avalon Gardens. Chelsea had her sister and best friend as her bridesmaids. Chelsea also had her beautiful little girl as a flower girl.

When I arrived at Avalon Gardens in Tamborine Mountain I was taken back by the beauty of the place, especially the overhead enclosure which was perfectly suited to an indoor wedding ceremony. It had a modern but rustic influence to the building which let in a decent amount of light which is what you want as a wedding photographer.

After Chelsea and Pablo were officially announced as husband and wife, we did the standard family photographs and then went straight into bridal party photos and bride and groom photos. The owners of the property surprised the bride and groom with horses. At first I was a little nervous about incorporating this into their wedding photographs as I had never done it before but I think the locations photographs turned out great.

After we were finished with the horses, we roamed around the gardens, soaking in the beauty and incorporating the gardens into the wedding photos whenever possible. It was about an hour drive to the Sherton in the Gold Coast.

As Chelsea and Pablo opted for an 8 hour package, we managed to squeeze in a few more family photographs, the cutting of the cake and the speeches. I have just delivered Chelsea and Pablo’s wedding photographs and I am pretty happy with the way they turned out. I wish them all the best for the future and thank them for letting me be a part of their special day.
