Carmelina and Matthew – Le Montage – 06 FEB 2016

Le Montage in Sydney

You really feel as though you know a couple when you meet them initially at a wedding, then again for a pre-wedding consultation, then for an engagement photoshoot and then you photograph their wedding for 10 hours. Carmelina and Matthew are one of those perfect couples that are made for each other. Young, sweet and very much in love.

Matthews looked very smart in his blue suit and Carmelina chose the most amazing wedding dress that fits like a glove. As you can imagine, being a half greek, half Tonga wedding there were a lot of weddings guests. The ceremony was held at The Greek Orthodox Church in Marrickville and was a traditional Orthodox wedding which I always enjoy photographing. Afterwards we did a big group photograph (and I mean big!). Then we did family photographs and then the bridal party and myself made our way to Sydney CBD. We starting shooting at The Rocks and we managed to get some spectacular photos under the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

We then made our way to Observatory Hill and arrived at just the right time when the sun was setting behind the horizon. We got some amazing photographs overlooking Sydney which can be seen throughout our website. The reception was held at the one and only Le Montage in Lillyfield. The food, as always was out of this world and the guests were treated to some traditional Tonga dancers. The festivities continued into the night and the happy bride and groom were made their leave with a fair well circle and a tunnel. It was a pleasure to have met Carmelina and Matthew and I felt privileged to be apart of their special day.
