Marilyn and Zacharie – 05 JUNE 2018
New Farm Park in Brisbane
What a spectacular day! Marilyn and Zacharie were married on the 2nd of June, 2018. The weather was amazing, Marilyn and Zac nailed their photoshoot and everything was planned perfectly well.
Marilyn and Zacharie both got ready for their big day not far from the ceremony, which was held at Broadway Chapel in Woolloongabba. Broadway Chapel is a lovely little chapel with a unique charm. As a photographer, it is a fantastic spot as it is bright and open. Marilyn and Zacharie were married in front of over 70 of their closest family and friends.
We headed over to New Farm Park for their Location photos and arrived there at around 4pm. As it was a winter wedding, the light was pretty much gone by around 5pm so we had to work pretty fast. We managed to get some lovely photos by the rose gardens, pegola and by the river. We also got some fantastic wedding photos at Brisbane Powerhouse.
This worked out really well, as the Powerhouse gave us a more “industrial feel”, whereas New Farm Park gave us more “natural” wedding photography. Marilyn and Zac had their reception at Watt Restaurant, which is right under the Brisbane Powerhouse. They made their entrance around 6pm which gave them a good opportunity to have a little rest and recover from our busy hour of wedding photography.
Marilyn and Zacharie purchased my Silver Package, which includes a 8×11 photobook, a USB with all the edited images and 8 hours of coverage. This allowed me to complete both bride and groom preparation photos, right up to the first dance and cake cutting. I wish Marilyn and Zacharie all the best for the future and thank them for allowing me to document their big day.
