Newcastle Wedding Photographer

Morgan and Sam – 26 OCT 2017

Stanley Park in Newcastle

Having only been to Newcastle a couple of times in my career, I am amazed by the beauty of this town and the amazing venues it has to offer. Morgan and Sam were married at Stanley Park, on September 16th, 2017.

As a wedding photographer in Brisbane, I do occasionally leave South East Queensland for weddings and I’m sure glad I do. Stanley Park is located at Fullertone Cove, a 20 minute drive from Newcastle. It is a historical landmark residence which is surrounded by 28 acres of country side and amazing waterviews.

Morgan and Sam were married just in front of the beautiful old historic house surrounded by their family and friends. After their ceremony, we conducted the usual family and group photographs. I always suggest, if time permits for the bride and groom to relax with their guests for around 15-20 minutes before undergoing the location shoot.

This is a great way to get some candid photos with the guests and allows for the bride and groom to enjoy their day and spend time with their loved ones.

For the location shoot, we were blessed with an amazing sunset behind a huge old fig tree. As a photographer, this is perhaps one of the best lighting situations you could ask for. As you will see from the photos below, they came out pretty good!

I wish Morgan and Sam all the very best for their future and appreciate them allowing me to capture their fantastic wedding.
