brides veil flying in the wind after wedding ceremony in front of lighthouse

Rebecca and Adam – 18 OCT 2016

Dunbar House in Sydney

Rebecca and Adam were married at the one and only Dunbar House in Watson’s Bay. This wedding has produced some of my best wedding photography, and for that I will be forever grateful to Rebecca and Adam. Rebecca looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress and Adam looked very sharp also.

Rebecca and Adam in fact booked my services with just a phone call as they live in Canberra. We then organised to meet up closer to their wedding date which was very practical as they had to drive to visit Dunbar House at the same time. Both Rebecca and Adam got ready at the Watson’s Bay Hotel which is just a couple of minutes walk from Dunbar House. Unfortunately the weather was looking very gloomy and they made the decision to have their wedding ceremony inside.

The room in which they had their ceremony was also very beautiful and produced some great wedding photography. The rain and clouds cleared  up just in time for a quick group and bridal party photographs. We then took a short trip to Vaucluse Lighthouse and spent around 15 minutes taking photos. This location and the time of day produced some spectacular colours in the sky as you can see from the wedding photos below.

We arrived back at Dunbar House and spent around 10 minutes doing some night photography on the beach of Watson’s Bay. We then did the family shots inside before the reception which I recommended as the light was fading very very quickly. Rebecca and Adam spent the rest of the night with their loved ones and had a fabulous time. If you are looking for a Sydney wedding photographer, then please visit our Contact Page.
